Jelly’s Last Jam are a four-piece indie band based in the North West of England. With infectious melodies and grooves, and energetic performances from frontman Paul Byrne they have gained a reputation in the North West as being a remarkable live band.

The band members all met at the University of Central Lancashire where they studied Contemporary Performing Arts and Music. At this time Paul and Andy had formed a band, Falto, who played in the student pubs and bars of Preston.

After they had graduated, the band split up and Andy, Rob and Marty left University to join previous band Frencheryk, with whom they had a modicum of success, playing to 15,000 people at one point at a show in Stockton-on-Tees.

In March 2005 however, they left the band to form Jelly's Last Jam. Writing as a foursome, and taking influences from a variety of sources, including Stevie Wonder, Ben Folds Five, The Who, The Temptations and Oscar Peterson they now aim to play 'good, fun music' which they love. And so should you!

Since 2006 the band have been documenting their experiences via a series of video diaries available on their youtube page, or as a podcast.

In August 2008 Jelly’s started their own club night called ‘Memory Loss’, at world famous jazz venue ‘Matt and Phreds’ in Manchesters Northern Quarter. This is a monthly event and features performances from Jelly’s Last Jam, alongside bands of their choosing.
